Times are changing.

It’s a post-hero world.

But they’ve never needed you more.

In SUPER you play as a group of powerful vigilantes in a world that turned its back on heroes. Are you discovering a new-found power? Has something forced you to put your mask back on? Or did you never stop fighting, even when they told you to quit?


This is an early, text-only version of Super.

  • It hasn’t had any work put into it’s layout or visual design
  • We’re gathering feedback from playtesting

What is in the game already?

  • A TTRPG designed to be played over a few sessions
  • Powers, stats, drives and origins for players to make compelling superheroes
  • A campaign / mission generator
  • Our new ‘beats’ progression system - tell small stories in-between missions that add depth to your character as you gain powers and stat increases 

How does this link to FIST?

A familiar core:
  • Keep it simple - 1 type of roll, only uses d6’s
  • Just 4 stats
  • Quick character creation - choose 2x powers, a drive and an origin

How is it different?

  • You’re superheroes, not mercenaries. New powers instead of traits.
  • Different stats - Instinct, Expertise, Justice, Vulnerability.
  • Drives and origins give progression choices and character epilogues
  • Death is not the end - choose between advancing or retiring your characters, but eventually all story arcs come to an end
  • Spend grit (health) to help your allies in risk rolls
  • Manage your team’s stress with being heroic and one-liners 
  • Alternate harm system - heroes deal fixed amounts of harm instead of d6’s.
  • The power of friendship

I already made a more complete comment on the jam page, but for peoples not interested in FIST but in super hero game : 

Super is a game about heros, they have to put back the mask in a world that made their actions unlawful. The base mechanic is based on fist, which ressemble the base of pbta with 2D6 and a partial success mechanic. The base game include 36 powers, 18 origin and 12motivation, in easy to use array, allowing to create new character for the two to three sessions that it will take to beat the vilain, which your game master can generate (with plot and power ) with more array ! 

The game is still in play testing, so only the rules are available, and (as you can read above ) one of the main thing in the rules is the beats system that make progressing your character on narrative goal instead of the classical XP. It's already an idea in FIST (in which each character has a goal that define how it advance ), but in SUPER your motivation and origin define what you do to advance and what you gain when you advance. 

All of this prelude to a very good ttrpg, and I'm waiting for the complete version, which I hope will include some lore about the world of SUPER.
