A downloadable lumen game
AUTOMATA is a rules-lite, robot role-playing game for two to five players.
You play as a team of robotic super heroes, sworn to protect the innocent. Diabolical villains threaten to take over the world with their hordes of mechanical monstrosities. Using your unique powers and abilities, you must work together to foil their dastardly plans.
This game is a homage to some of the movies, video games, and cartoons from our childhood, that still evoke fond memories in us today and helped to inspire our young imaginations.
Investing in the project provides you with instant access to the current version of the game, along with continued updates as we develop the game further.
The current version contains:
- The cores rules
- 6 Playable Hero Models
- A d66 table of Upgrade Abilities
- A Starter Adventure
- 8 Enemy Types and rules to create your own
Purchasing this version of the game will help us to invest in making it the best we can make it.
Our goal is to raise $500, which will allow us to add further artwork, write extra content, develop tools, and to pay ourselves for our work.
AUTOMATA is currently planned for a digital release only.
We've created a digital character sheet for players to use whilst playing the game:
This sheet lets you select a Model, your Upgrade Abilities, and keep track of your Health, Energy, and Spark. You can find it here: https://www.arcaneatlas.games/automata/character
Need a soundtrack for your game session? Check out the AUTOMATA playlist, made just for our game by the fantastic tabletop designer Sam Leigh!
Put it on while you play and you'll find plenty of bleeps and bloops to save the world too!
In order to download this lumen game you must purchase it at or above the minimum price of $10 USD. You will get access to the following files:
Support this lumen game at or above a special price point to receive something exclusive.
We want to ensure that everyone has access to our games, so feel free to pick up a copy of the game for free, no questions asked.
If you play the game, we’d love to hear how it went and would greatly appreciate you sharing our work with your friends, but there is no obligation for you to do so.
We really enjoy making our games and hope that you enjoy them too.
